The Story Behind This Soap
When we began developing our first soap, we wanted to create something that reflected our philosophy.
Rather than starting with complicated formulations or artificial fragrances, we chose a simpler path.
We selected two botanicals that have been valued in traditional personal care practices for generations: Hibiscus and Neem.
Our goal was not to create a soap filled with unnecessary additions, but to create a clean, handcrafted product inspired by nature and traditional craftsmanship.
How We Make Our Hibiscus & Neem Soap
Every batch begins with careful preparation.
The neem leaves and hibiscus petals used in our soap are hand-picked and gently shade-dried using a traditional process. Once dried, they are finely powdered and prepared for incorporation into the soap.
For the oil base, we use:
- Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil
- Cold-Pressed Castor Oil
These oils are blended together before the botanical powders are added.
The lye solution is then carefully mixed with the oils and botanicals to begin the soap-making process.
To provide a naturally textured feel, we add a small amount of extra hibiscus and neem powder during pouring, creating a gentle botanical character throughout the bar.
The finishing touch comes from a decorative topping of:
- Orange Peel Powder
- Rose Petal Powder
Each bar is then allowed to cure and develop into a handcrafted soap that reflects the care and attention given throughout the process.

Hibiscus
Hibiscus has been admired for centuries and is widely used in traditional beauty and personal care practices.
Known for its vibrant flowers and rich cultural history, hibiscus continues to be a popular botanical ingredient in handcrafted skincare products today.
Neem
Neem has long been valued in traditional wellness and personal care traditions.
Its deep connection to natural living and heritage-inspired skincare made it a natural choice for our first soap.
Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has been used in traditional soap making for generations and remains one of the most popular ingredients among soap makers worldwide.
Cold-Pressed Castor Oil
Castor oil is another time-honored ingredient commonly found in handcrafted soaps and personal care products.
Together, these ingredients create a simple formulation inspired by nature and traditional craftsmanship.
No Added Fragrance
One decision we made early in the development process was to avoid adding artificial fragrance.
We wanted this soap to remain true to its ingredients.
Instead of masking the natural character of the botanicals, we chose to let the soap speak for itself.
This approach aligns with our belief that simplicity can often be the most authentic choice.
